EME contains an event log that is used internally for the logging of events. EME Enterprise Edition components, interceptors and transformers can log informational and error events to this log. Custom, user-defined events can also be recorded to the event log.

Tracking down the cause of errors is made easier with EME’s event log. All messages that are part of an event are bundled together. When an event takes place, the ESB correlation id is logged so the exact flow of all of the associated messages can be rendered using the Message Viewer.
